Open community design events will take place either in-person (if possible) or via Zoom and will each focus on different spaces at the recreation center and library.
The purpose of these interactive sessions is to discuss community interests, needs and priorities for design, and to build community around the changes coming to your neighborhood.

December Community Kickoff Events
We invited community members to attend one of two kick off workshops to celebrate the launch of Rebuild Lawncrest Recreation Center and Library. These meetings were held on Wednesday, December 9, 6:00-7:30 pm and Saturday, December 12, 12:00-1:30pm.
Community members had the opportunity to meet with the project managers, designers, architects and Rebuild staff. These events were the first in a series of design workshops where community members share priorities and goals for the new site and building design.
If you were unable to attend please click the links below to view the recordings of the two meetings. You can also view the presentation slides by clicking here. We invite you to continue sharing feedback on the communicate tab on this site or by emailing lawncrest@community-ventures.org.
