Spring 2025 Update: Construction FAQ

Construction on the improvements to the sports courts and picnic area at Piccoli Recreation Center is scheduled to begin Spring 2025. The recreation building and fields are expected to remain open during construction.​​

What Improvements are Happening?​

New Picnic Area​

• New picnic tables​

• New lighting​

• New ADA accessible path to pool​

New Painted Games Area​

• New seating​

• New painted games​

• New lawn area​

Sports Courts​

• Resurfaced and repainted courts​

• (1) new volleyball court & (1) new multi-sport court​

• (2) Full Sized basketball courts & (2) half courts​

How Were the Improvements Determined?​

A site assessment evaluated needs for safety, compliance, and longevity. Community and stakeholder input was collected during each design phase and included 2 public meetings and 3 focus group meetings.
